Ukodhiko Mourns Pst. Owraigbo’s Demise, Consoles Family

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has expressed sadness over the demise of foremost Nigerian preacher and immediate past General-Overseer of United Believers Mission Inc, Pst. Augustus Owraigbo, who died on June 27, 2024

In a condolence message on Tuesday, at Abuja, the House of Representatives member expressed his pain of loss, and commiserated with the Owraigbo family, friends, congregation of UBM Worldwide, and the Christian community of the late religious leader.

The Isoko federal lawmaker described Pastor Owraigbo as a “bold cleric, staunch leader of the Christian Association of Nigerian and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigerian, whose works in Christendom and contributions to the unity of Isoko were phenomenal.”

Hon. Ukodhiko said, “On behalf of the people of Isoko Federal Constituency, I commiserate with the Owraigbo Family, congregation of United Believers Mission, Christian community over the demise of an exceptional elder-statesman, religious leader and father, His Eminence, Pastor Augustus H. Owraigbo.

“The late Pastor Owraigbo’s life was well spent in the service of the Lord and the salvation of humanity. He worked steadfastly at the Lord’s vineyard, where he distinguished himself as a General in the army of the Most High God for decades.

“He was committed teacher and passionate preacher of the undiluted words of God who through his evangelism, outreaches, and teachings, converted many to Christianity and, won countless souls for Christ.

“Yes, during his earthly sojourn here, our late religious leader was inspirational and charismatic, he mentored many generations of pastors in Nigeria and contributed immensely to the growth of the Christendom in Nigeria.

“We will sorely missed the late iconic preacher and Isoko patriot, Pastor Owraigbo. It is my prayer to God to grant his pleasant soul sweet repose even as I urge his immediate family to derive strength and comfort from the exemplary life of positive impacts he led.” Ukodhiko added
